Very nice management. Very clean rooms. Door to outside in each room for easy access to your vehicle. Very good price for what you get and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. We will stay there every time we go to Claresholm.
Itheir cafe is clean at Best Seven... but I need lots of real aged cheddar cheese for my sandwich and so we didn't go back. I d call ahead if I was you. Go south to the south end of Claresholm . It's on the highway. West side of highway. As you go home drive carefully...a bit of a scrape under the vehicle.we just wanted to get a lunch that was filling.
Stopped for dinner in way through town. Chinese buffet was decent. Fresh and good variety. Service was good.
Pleasantly surprised!Booked online the day-of as I was travelling down from Edmonton via Drumheller with family, on our way to Fort MacLeod. Arrived later than expected, so I called the motel to inquire about desk hours (they had someone on til 10:30pm) and said we would be arriving 11:15-30, and they said no problem they'd have someone stay up. Motel is modest on the outside (obviously an older building), but inside was very clean and tidy. Got two double -queen rooms and both were very clean and quite nice and did not have that "old motel" smell, they were surprisingly pleasant. Both my parents and aunt (in their 60s and 70s) had no complaints on the quality of the beds, and commented that the motel was very nice and quiet. Breakfast was good and the man working (owner I think) asked if there was any food we needed more of, and he made us fresh eggs, pancakes, and brought us boiled water for tea. Very reasonable accommodations for the price, especially compared to what else was nearby and easily 1.5x the price. Would stay here again.
For a budget motel it was what we needed, as we had been driving since Dillon Montana. All we wanted was a clean bed, clean towels and a clean room. It would have been better if we were able to pay cash or debit.
