Great food and great staff! I had the burger, and my friend had the fish & chips. Both were excellent. The prices were fair, and the staff were all really friendly and efficient. Our server was able to make some recommendations for us when we asked. During the course of the meal we never had to ask for refills on our drinks, she just noticed when we were low and took care of it. We will be stopping by again!
I liked that place. There is something about those small diners. You can feel that it is not the big corporation kind of place, it is cozy and has a unique design, simple menu. It doesn't try to be something that it is not.Good service, acceptable prices.A nice and unique experience.
This last week working in Claresholm and tried out all eating establishments in town. By far Roy's Place was at the top of the list. Tried chicken fried steak as well thursday night salisbury steak and "pickle soup". So so delicious comfort food and the pickle soup, to die for, all of us had to order another soup for to go, you gotta taste it! Besides the food our waitress "MARIE" was just amazing, going above and beyond her call of duty. Her feet never stopped moving taking good care of her customers, very personable, as well as all her other tasks in the restaurant. You never see waitresses or waiters equal to her anymore. Roy's should appreciate her as there will never be another the same. Just an excellent experience eating there. Thanks Roy's and Marie!
